Home Pilgrimages Children Teachers Volunteers About Us
Teacher’s Page

Here are the downloads, news and information you need in planning your visit to Southwell with your children.  We want you to find the whole experience as stress-free as possible, so rest assured that you will always hear a friendly voice when you phone us; we want you and your pupils to feel at home and have a wonderful time.

Sue, based in our office at the Education Centre, will make sure you have all the information you need in order to prepare for your visit.  Diana and Emma are both primary school teachers, and know first hand what is involved in planning a successful visit, so aim to provide you with materials that are useful and relevant.

You will find separate downloadable Class Books for key stages 1 and 2 which are designed to help you plan for and follow up the visit to Southwell.  The "supplement" relates to the theme of the current year.  The themes alternate between  "Opposites" and "Senses" for Key Stage 1, and between "Signs and Symbols" and "People" for Key Stage 2.

Please make sure you read your complete guide, which we will send you a few weeks in advance of your visit.  Here are a few reminders for you to make sure you are prepared.
